Sexuality: Presumably heterosexual, although she carries a secret love/respect for the leader of the resistance movement Jazz Fenton, so bi-curious might be a more accurate description. Other than that, she hasn't exactly has a chance to get close to anyone in years.

Appearance: Valerie has curly black hair that reaches all the way down to her back. She’s dark skinned with green eyes and usually wears a matching pair of triangle earrings. Her outfit consists of a low-neck yellow blouse and a short orange skirt. Also wears an orange necklace of some kind. This is what she looks like when she’s in her normal outfit, NOT her ghost hunting attire.

In her ghost hunting attire, she boasts self generating weapons of her old model, including a glider that is firmed from her own thought and, unlike her old suit, an oxygen mask that both reveals her face and allows her the ability to breathe in space. She is able to change into this suit by mere thought, again different from her old model.

Personality: Valerie is very strong willed and dedicated to ghost hunting. She is very aggressive, which would explain why she dated Danny Fenton first despite his obvious crush on his longtime friend Sam. Valerie usually knows what she wants, so she goes out and gets it. In hr ghost hunting form, this makes her quite a deadly enemy, and very dangerous. Despite this, Valerie at her heart still has a soft spot for people, and wouldn't hesitate to help anyone she considers a friend.

Abilities/Strengths: As stated above, Valerie is a ghost hunter. As a human, she also possesses a ninth degree black belt. Her dedication to Ghost Hunting and her somewhat flawed but earnest ability to tell right from wrong has kept in check her desire to be the best ghost hunter in the world. Valerie, when human, is really a sweetheart, she just happens to be one that could do considerable damage to you in her Ghost hunting attire.

Weapons: Telepathic Control over her suit, the oxygen mask and her glider are her new upgrades from her old suit. Other than this she still has her old weaponry: the Ectogrenade launcher, the Plasmius thermos for catching ghosts, two ecto guns, rocket powered roller skates, shoulder and wrist ectoplasmic laser beams, and pink ghost-piercing razor sharp disks. Most of these weapons are meant to hunt ghosts though, and will probably do little damage to people.

Weaknesses: Valerie has a tendency to shoot first and ask questions later, especially when she's Ghost Hunting. While she's a bit more docile in her human form, she also shows exactly what her Ghost hunting hides: she can be very much controlled by her emotions, and they do tend to get the best of her. What's more, even as a ghost hunter, most of her actually powers are geared specifically toward Ghost Hunting in general, though her ectoplasm can really sting. Her primary weakness is one particular Ghost Boy. Danny will always be a sore spot for her. As a result, in human form she acts like what she IS, whereas in Ghost hunting attire she's what she HAS to be.

History: OK…typical popular girl, mean, nasty, and all that cliché stuff. Her father has several run-ins with ghosts, inadvertently leading to him losing his job, and Danny Phantom is linked to these rather unfortunate circumstances. A mysterious benefactor (Vlad Plasmius) leaves her ghost-hunting garb, and she dedicates her life in hunting and obliterating ghosts, particularly Danny in his ghost form since she blames him for her fall from grace. She’s no longer popular because she’s not rich, and somehow becomes taken with Danny Fenton, although they initially don’t get along at first. However, their relationship is cut short when Technus, manipulating the two of them, has Danny Phantom destroy Valerie's old suit, leading her to think he had wanted to kill her all along. Anxious to end him, Technus "mysteriously" grants Valerie a NEW suit: one that can be formed via telepathy, and she opts to dedicate her skills toward Ghost hunting, sadly breaking off her relationship with Danny Fenton.

Later, Plasmius concocts a way to fool Valerie into hunting both Danny Phantom and Dani, a girl that has been concocted by one of Plasmius's experiments. What Valerie doesn't know, of course, is that Dani is, like most of Vlad's experiments, not entirely stable, nor does she know that Danny Phantom is Danny Fenton (yeah, Amitypark is apparently full of idiots, but I digress). In any case, Valerie captures Dani and returns her to Plasmius while keeping Danny captive, torturing him for information.

And HERE is where the AU starts.

Unlike the episode, Dani isn't saved. She destabilizes and Vlad wins. Valerie, ecstatic that she's proven she's the best ghost hunter is shocked when Vlad happily tells her he's been duping her since the beginning, that HE is, in fact, Vlad Plasmius, and that she helped him kill a half human child, before ejecting her from the premises in said ghost form.

And Danny? Danny is, of course, devastated. He falls into a depression, which doesn't end when he is captured by Vlad later, and Amity park, saved by Danny in the episode "Phantom Planet," are instead forced to give Vlad five hundred billion dollars and make him dictator of the world. With Danny no longer a thread, Vlad is able to remove the "Ectoranium" and succeeds in his plans.

Aftermath: Jack Fenton is placed in prison for life. Maddie Fenton becomes Vlad's wife. No one knows what happened to Danny. The very few resistance movement against Vlad are comprised of Valerie, Tucker, Sam, Jazz and a handful of others willing to fight Vlad's horde of ghost servants including Technus, Skulker, and The Fright Knight, to name a few. Luckily for Valerie, Sam and Tucker never found out what made Danny stop caring about being Danny Phantom. The only person Valerie told was Jazz, and Jazz responded with formulating a resistance against Vlad. Valerie follows Jazz willingly wherever she goes and is Jazz's bodyguard. However, because she is still ashamed, she never removes her ghost hunting gear. To her, it is always to be her mark of shame. She has vowed to depose Vlad and find Danny Phantom, and once that happens she can allow herself to leave Amity Park and be forgotten forever.

Jazz is A) the ONLY one who knows what actually transpired and B) the person who told Valerie of her brother's alter ego.
