OK, so I guess thinking this is all some horrible freakish nightmare concocted by Vlad is pretty much out, for now. After taking a look at all the other entries in this forum thing, this a little TOO elaborate for someone like him. Although, I have to admit, this is not exactly the most military apt place I'd ever been in. For one thing, everybody really seems to have adjusted to being pulled from their world into this one to fight some enemy they don't even know. I mean, really, are your worlds that bad you don't mind being pulled into this one? People even have boyfriends and girlfriends in here, some of the same sex even! Not that I'm complaining
Jazz in a skinsuit IS enough to make me need a cold shower, but isn't it, like, not really smart to adjust too favorably to this place, or else the enemy use your feelings of love against you? In my world, our opposition wouldn't think twice about using it against you.
That aside...this room is so drab, it makes the apartment back at home look nice. I've heard about requisitions, so I'll probably so something about that. Normally in a military situation you can't help your quarters, but I'd rather have a place NOT looking like an asylum, thank you. Probably get some weights too, maybe a balance beam and mats. Going to have to stay in shape around here. And no, I DON'T plan on staying long.
Normally this is where I'd tell my roomies not to touch my stuff, but seeing as how the more important things are telepathic and I doubt anyone cares about the items a sixteen year old girl is sporting, I can hold off on it. But anything else I get that breakable? You will be tossed out of the window for, cuffs or no. In my world, touching a girls stuff and breaking it is deliberately invoking the wrath of a demon. You just don't do it.
...Three girls and a guy huh?
Odd. Progressive though, I like that.
Oh, and where do we eat around here anyway? I've gotten used to rations, but I don't know how it is here.
( Private/hackable as Valerie is still adjusting. )I like this computer thing though. Pretty interesting. Of course, not as interesting as some of the people I keep hearing about.
Think I might actually WANT to get to know my roommates.
